Lehnert & Landrock

Lehnert and Landrock was a photographic studio run by Bohemian Rudolf Franz Lehnert and Saxon-German Ernst Heinrich Landrock. The studio was active in Tunisia and Egypt during the early 20th century, and they were especially noted for producing and selling classic Orientalist images as souvenirs in North Africa. The studio focused on images of North African people, landscapes, and architecture and then sold these to European audiences as monographs, individual prints, photogravures, and other graphic reproductions.

Condition Description

The folder is torn along the top edge at both ends and has small tears, with minor loss at the edges. The map displays small tears at the ends of the folds. The colors remain quite bright.
