The pamphlet is Historical and Descriptive Sketch of Sonoma County, California, a very scarce early history of Sonoma, written by its earliest historian. It covers about every aspect of county history and life, including physical characteristics, natural resources, descriptions of towns, businesses, culture, agriculture, wine-making, and much more.

Original printed wrappers. Custom folding chemise and morocco-backed slipcase. Front wrappers creased and lightly spotted, spine chipped at head, small chip front corner of rear wrapper and final text leaf; very good.
