Original vintage travel advertising poster featuring a colorful and detailed illustrated map of the Maltese islands of Malta, Comino, and Gozo including images of historical landmarks and notable buildings, a plan of Valletta with coat-of-arms and WWII letters on each side from Buckingham Palace and Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The map is filled with interesting illustrations: people taking part in various sports and other activities on land and at sea including ball games, hunting, farming, polo on horses and water polo, scuba diving, swimming, sailing and fishing, transport by plane, boats and buses, a stylized title scroll featuring a knight, a battle scene of an attack on World War II convoys at sea, framed by a decorative border of oranges with coats-of-arms and a Maltese cross emblems on top of a vegetal motif.
