Fraser’s Panoramic Plan of London
Out of stock
19th century London with vignettes of important buildings.
Plan of central London engraved by James Neele dissected and laid on linen as issued, extending to Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, Regent’s Canal, the Surrey Docks, Kennington and Chelsea. Wonderful detail along the Thames River.
The map is surrounded by eighteen vignettes of important buildings, including St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, the Italian Opera House, Drury Lane Theatre, the Thames Tunnel, Hammersmith Suspension Bridge, and New London Bridge.
Somewhat browned; very good.
