Michael Ramus (1915 – 2005) was a commercial illustrator and cartoonist for major magazines such as Life, Sports Illustrated, Smithsonian, Reader’s Digest and American Heritage.
He served four years in the U.S. Army during World War II, where his duties included painting war-time patriotic posters.
